“I always knew that brewing was 80% cleaning and 20% brewing, but Jeremy Kosmicki, Brewmaster, certainly wasn’t going to let forget that fact! He had me scrub the “Classic Brewhouse” with a toothbrush!” –Shannon Long

Grand Rapids Brewing Company – Grand Rapids Brewing Company has a long and fascinating history dating all the way back to 1893.   Along the way they have brewed up some award-winning food all while serving up excellent home-made good making sure that GRBC is one of the best all around places to stop in for happy hour!

“Before filming at Grand Rapids Brewing Company, Jake Brenner, Head Brewer, warned me that we would do a “mash ball.” I asked all of my brewer buddies if this was a type of brewing technique. Maybe, something to produce high gravity beers? Nobody had any idea, and I must admit I was a bit nervous. On filming day, Jake filled me in that mash ball was an awesome game he plays from atop the brewhouse! Let me be the first to tell you! It is as fun as it looks!” –Shannon Long

“Beer City, USA – We put together a segment with Experience Grand Rapids detailing the full history of beer in Grand Rapids. I guarantee you will learn and thing or two. I certainly did!” –Shannon Long
